DESCRIPTION:27th- 29th April\, 2018\nTHESSALONIKI\, GREECE\nOrganization : Choir “KORAIS” \nThe “KORAIS” Choir has the pleasure to invite you in a Festival of joy that is going to take place on April 27-29\, 2018 in Thessaloniki. This city of Northern Greece\, well-known for its nice Mediterranean climate\, open-hearted people and a long history that left behind a lot of ancient monuments\, can promise you an unforgettable stay\, full of exciting experiences.\nMoreover\, the love and support expressed by the numerous Musical Festival followers as well as the warm and friendly welcome of the Organization Committee create a unique atmosphere of enthusiasm that contributes to an unforgettable experience. \nKey information about the Festival\nThe Festival is addressed to all types of choirs and vocal ensembles from all over the world.v\nThe Festival does not have a competitive character. However\, at the end of each concert an Audience Prize will be awarded to the best choir.v\nEach choir is invited to perform five songs. At least the three of them should be Musical songs\, while the remaining two may be freely selected\, preferably from pop music\, jazz\, or from film soundtracks.v\nIn case choirs do not wish to include Musical songs in their repertoire\, they may present a performance of their own choice in the Festival concerts that will take place on the 27th and the morning of the 29th of April.v\nThe choirs may enrich their performance with a dancing or a theatrical touch.v\nThe Festival provides the opportunity to dance schools or groups to participate with choreographies inspired by theatrical or cinema Musicals.v\nThe Festival Opening Ceremony will take place at the Conservatory of the Roman Agora\, an ancient monument of great value in the city of Thessaloniki.v\nAt the end of the Festival all participants are invited to a great Greek style feast.v\nThe accommodation of the choirs will be provided at 3*\, 4* and 5* hotels offering very reasonable rates. Staying in Thessaloniki entails a special historical and cultural interest.
