We are pleased to invite you and your choir to take part in two major international choral events hosted by the International Choral Festival of Preveza, Greece:
2nd International Choral Composition Competition – Preveza 2025
An opportunity for composers worldwide to create new choral works and contribute to contemporary repertoire.
Submission deadline: November 25, 2025
Categories:
- Mixed Choirs (SATB or SMsATB, a cappella, 3–4’) – body percussion allowed
- Children’s Choirs (SA or SMsA, a cappella or with piano, 2–3’) – body percussion allowed
Texts may be in Latin, English, or Russian (Orthodox music).
Winning works will be published by ASTRUM Music Publications (Commissioned & Awarded Compositions series).

30th International Choral Competition of Preveza – July 9–12, 2026
A celebration of choral artistry in one of Greece’s most inspiring coastal cities.
Categories include:
- Mixed, Equal-voice, Youth, Children’s, Sacred and Contemporary Music
- I – Senior Choirs (60+): free repertoire, any accompaniment
All choirs receive a diploma and international jury evaluation.
Top ensembles are awarded Gold, Silver or Bronze Medals.
Selected performances are featured on the Festival’s official YouTube channel.
